Hey Brush Babes ! Welcome to our second edition of the 5 summer trends to not be missed ! If you haven’t had the opportunity to come across our poll stories about 2021 summer trends, here’s a quick recap of the ones that have caught our attention.

3 PIECE SWIMSUITSWhile there are plenty of cool barely there swimsuits popping up with details like major cutouts and thong bottoms, some of us  feel best in styles that involve a bit more coverage. Perhaps that’s why three-piece swimsuit are one of the biggest trends this summer. With coordinating items like a button-down top or  a sarong skirt to match your swimsuit, you can easily transform your bikini into a full look.

BUSTIER/CORSETSThe corset or bustier top trend is here to stay ! In fact, lingerie out is easily one of the biggest trends in 2021. . Take a cue from celebs like Dua Lipa and Hailey Bieber when styling these feminine pieces, a slouchy jean or low-slung short and loose blazer to provide a little shift. Corsets and bustiers  have definitely come a long way what used to be worn as an undergarment is now front and centre.

MINI SKIRTSOver the past few years it has been all about the midi  skirts and dresses, however this summer there has been an increasing focus on the female forms, with a return to bodycon, cutouts and rising hemlines. Mini skirts are making a major comeback, in a variety  of cuts, fabrics and prints to lengthen the look of your legs and showcase your most fashionable footwear of the season, they are here to stay.

SECOND SKIN TOPSSome trends come and go, some are so universally appealing and fitting for every season that they might stay around for a long time. Second skin tops is one of them. They went viral this year when Beyonce and  Adele wore Marine Serre’s cult moon fitted top and since then these styles have been seen on runways of brands like Prada, Miu Miu, Jil Sander and more.

LONG SHORTSIf the shorts and dresses have gone shorter this season, long shorts are the unanimous choice. Shorts are a staple and will never really go out of style but this season people go away from the basics and  try to incorporate a bit of novelty with shorts from tailored versions to lounge worthy types.
