Hey Brush Babes! Fall is finally here and even if we will miss summer, fall is always a fun time when it comes to fashion!  If you haven’t had the opportunity to come across our poll stories about 2022 fall trends, here’s a quick recap of the ones that have caught our attention.

BODY PRINT

Some designers took a more metaphorical approach to the rise of skin-baring pieces by creating motifs inspired by the human form in their fall-winter 2022 collections. You saw this through Balmain’s and Y/Project’s collections, but you also saw more impressionist iterations focused on other body parts like the face, hands, and general silhouettes. This print trend is making showing off our figures easier this fall.

TRENCH JACKET

Needless to say, the classic Burberry trench coat women love so dearly will never lose its space however there are some great high-street alternatives these days. By now, you’re familiar with the trench coat, but how about the trench jacket? Similar to the hemlines of the season’s dresses and skirts, even trench coats are going shorter. There are both cropped styles and standard jacket lengths.

UGG

Originally worn by Aussie surfers in the Sixties the UGG is one of the most hotly debated, love-it-or-hate-it shoes in recent history. But unlike its numerous « ugly »shoe siblings (Crocs,Yeezys…) it is not worn in a subversively cool manner, nor to make a big style statement. This new-found obsession with UGGs is, in fact, all about comfort and is definetely here to stay and honestly, we ain’t mad about it.

CARGO SKIRT

Not many 90s trends have managed to make a return quite as successfully as cargo skirts have. The recently resurrected item was once commonplace on the red carpet or seen on pop stars avoiding paparazzi and worn of course, with wedge thong sandals. While this trend was a slow burn to start with, our favourite SoCal socialites turned supermodels, Bella Hadid and Kendall Jenner are taking up the mantle and reviving the contemporary classic with a modern twist.

ADIDAS SAMBA

They stand out as one of the off-duty essentials of fashionable models. The adidas Samba sneakers have been back in force for a few months. And it’s not Bella Hadid or Kendall Jenner who will say the opposite. Seen wearing these essential sportswear during the last Fashion Weeks, the models confirm the trend. From street style to the catwalk, the adidas Samba are more than ever on the rise.

See you next week Brush babes until then make sure to keep an eye on the fashion industry to spot the latest trends!
